Midrasha Year

To truly know yourself

  • For young women
  • One study day a week
  • Earns a Counselor Training scholarship

One day a week. One year. Professional training and a completely new picture of yourself and of life. The Midrasha Year at Yichuda College is a unique program for young women: deep study of Jewish psychology through Kabbalah and Chassidut — the Torah’s inner, mystical teachings — alongside hitbonenut (Jewish meditation), creative work, group conversation, and personal mentoring, all without pressing pause on work, studies, or national service. Midrasha students are eligible for a scholarship in the college’s Counselor Training track.

Signing up for the coming year? Start here!
You’ve finished high school, national service, or a degree — and now, just when everything is open, is inner clarity what you’re missing most?
Does your spiritual life look orderly from the outside, while within you’re searching for a connection that’s more alive, deeper, and truly personal?
Are thoughts about identity, marriage, and purpose filling your mind — and do you want to reach the next chapter of life with real tools, not just advice?
Do you function beautifully, yet quietly carry self-criticism, emotional overload, and an inner noise that gives you no rest?
Do you dream of studying Jewish psychology in depth — maybe even counseling and guiding others someday — but can’t press pause on work or school for a whole year?

This is the place for you:

The Midrasha Year at Yichuda College

Jewish psychology in the light of Kabbalah

  • For young women
  • One study day a week
  • Earns a Counselor Training scholarship

If you’re looking for a year of real growth — a place where the learning is serious, the focus turns inward, and you grow together with a remarkable group — the Midrasha Year was built exactly for you. One day a week that lights up the rest of the week.

Who is the Midrasha for?

Seeking Depth

For the young woman after high school or national service, or in the middle of a degree, who wants a year of real spiritual and emotional growth — without putting life on hold and without giving up her independence.

Toward the Next Chapter

For the one in a season of sorting things out — identity, marriage, choosing a direction — who wants to enter the next chapter truly knowing herself, not swept along by pressure or confusion.

A Future of Giving

For the one who feels called to guide, teach, or counsel, and wants a serious first step into the world of Jewish psychology — with a scholarship that carries over into the Counselor Training track.

The Program

Yichuda is not just a college or a study track — it’s a space of real inner change. A place where you learn to understand the soul, heal old pain, build a healthy marriage, and rediscover deep meaning in life. The combination of decades of experience, deep Jewish psychology, and practical tools for working with people creates a process that connects spirit with life itself. Not escaping reality — meeting it from a place that is more whole, steady, and clear.

Into the World of Kabbalah

The foundational language of the Torah’s inner dimension — sefirot (divine attributes), worlds, lights and vessels — and their connection to everyday life, to emotion, and to action.

Map of the Soul

Character and personality assessment through the Ten Sefirot: identifying tendencies, talents, strengths, and points to refine — in yourself and in the people around you.

Hitbonenut

Practical Chassidic meditation: nigun (soulful melody), breathing, guided imagery, writing, and movement — tools that turn the learning into an experience that stays with you all week long.

Personal Mentoring

Personal conversations and an assessment meeting throughout the year — because your own growth is the heart of the process, not an add-on.

What will you take with you
at the end of the year?

As the year ends, you’ll feel that your consciousness has shifted: the world is clearer, your sense of self sharper, and the big choices — marriage, studies, direction — no longer frighten you. They invite you.

Truly Knowing Yourself

A clear map of your strengths, tendencies, and calling — and inner order in your thoughts and emotions.

A Scholarship for the Road Ahead

Those who complete the year are eligible for a scholarship in the college’s Counselor Training track — so the Midrasha Year can be your first step into a profession of purpose.

Tools for Life and Relationships

Emotional regulation, healthy communication, and decisions made with clarity — for marriage, family, studies, and work.
